The Twins Are Coming!
Posted: April 8, 2010 Filed under: Uncategorized 9 Comments »I had a doctors appt. today. Twin A is still breech and his cord is below his feet in my cervix. This is dangerous if my water breaks because the cord could compress or fall out causing a prolapsed cord. In order to prevent this from happening, my doctor has decided that tomorrow (Friday, April 9) that she would schedule me for a c-section. I will 38 weeks tomorrow and my doctor promises me that the babies are ready to be delivered and are healthy weights (between 6-7lbs each). We will be in the hospital for at least 2-4 days. Once the babies are born, Chris will send out an email and let everyone know the sex of the babies, how we are all doing, and include some pictures.
Please pray for no complications during/ after the c-section and for the twins to be healthy and not need any assistance after birth. Also pray that the twins would take to breastfeeding well and I would produce enough milk for two little ones. Please pray for Cooper’s adjustment to having two new siblings in his life.
Praying!!
Chris has my email right? 🙂
Aubrey, I just added you to the list. Thanks for the reminder!
We are and will be praying! Can’t wait to hear the news that they are here. By the way, I guess that they are boys. 🙂
Susanne and Chris, I am thinking of you and hope all goes well. Let me know how you are as soon as you can.
Love Maria
Hope to hear something soon….all 5 of you are in my prayers!
WOW! Congrats! I saw on Facebook last night Lizzy reported the news! I’m thrilled about the baby girls. Cooper gets to be big man on campus! Nice size for twins, too! I send you my love and can’t wait to see pictures! xoxo
…AND THEY’RE HERE!!!!
Dear Susanne, just wanting you to know you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers! It boggles my mind to imagine how busy you must be right now with not one, but TWO newborns. Even with one baby, I could barely manage to find time to feed and dress myself, and there was precious little time for rest, much less anything else. I love you and know God will carry you through this time! The girls are such a miracle and gift from Him!
