Susan, my son is still waking somewhere in the early morning betwen 4-6am. But I have just left him in his crib. He will play and talk to himself and sometimes go back to sleep. If he really starts to wail, then I know he's hungry and we just get up. I must say that his sleep seems to be improving and we have less early morning wake up calls these days, which makes me very happy. Thanks for the support and sharing your own struggles with your son! I have to remind myself daily that my son is not a robot and therefore there will be some variation to every day! I am just glad that I use babywise/ baby whisperer principals because if I didn't, I am sure our days would be a pure mess!

I hope your sleep issues have cured on its own. My son, five months old, also has his good days and not so good days as far as nighttime and daytime sleep is concerned. There are mornings where he will sleep in until 7:30 am (hooray), and other times when he will wake up at 5:30am (oh my), following the same routine the day and night before. I suppose all babies have a different rhythm that they follow, much like us adults, but I, too, have felt like a crazy person, often doubting myself and this schedule (babywise/baby whisperer) that I follow.

I know Drew did the "really early" wake up time for a while.
I guess sleep and children just don't mix!
As sad as I am that you are leaving, I am so excited for you! You are going to have a great house, family, and so many wonderful opportunities! You will have your boys- and that is really all you need!
