8 Pounds, 6 Ounces

Cooper is now 2 1/2 weeks old.  We went to the pediatrician on Tuesday for the second time since he was born.  Normally, a baby loses a little weight once it is born and should get back to its birth weight after 2 weeks.  Our pediatrician weighed Cooper and he was a pound heavier than his birth weight!  We weren’t sure if he was eating enough since his feedings are kind of short but our pediatrician said he could even eat a little less.  Bottom line: we’re raising an efficiently feeding little pig!

By the way, Cooper lived up to his nick name at the pediatrician’s office too.  He held nothing back!

Check out the new photos.

You must be feeding him like a Texan. Nothing but beef brisket and sparerib flavored baby formula!

Since when do two week old babies smile?? Does he have a brilliant set of pearly white teeth?
